El Centro de Trabajadores de Nueva York Central, El Centro de Justicia de Nueva York, y el Consulado Móvil de Guatemala les invita a nuestra oficina este Viernes, 25 de Septiembre de 10AM – 4PM donde el Consulado Móvil de Guatemala estará ofreciendo sus servicios.

Para confirmar su asistencia con el Centro de Trabajadores, llame al (315) 412-8808. Nos estaremos reuniendo en el segundo piso de la Iglesia Plymouth – Dirección: 232 E. Onondaga St. Syracuse, NY 13202.
El Consulado estará aceptando 60 solicitudes.
Los servicios ofrecidos serán los siguientes: pasaportes e identificaciones consulares.
Se ofrecerá más información acerca de otros servicios del consulado, pero sólo se estarán procesando los dos documentos previamente mencionados.
El Consulado no estará ofreciendo el DPI.
Hasta el momento, el único lugar donde se da el DPI es en Guatemala. Ellos esperan que ya para el final del año el DPI se pueda procesar en NY. Necesita el documento Partida de Nacimiento de RENAP para procesar el DPI, entonces El Consulado está solicitando que usted (o el/la que lo necesite) lo comience a pedir desde Guatemala para que pueda tenerlo listo para finales del año.
También nos dicen que todas las transacciones en el consulado se pueden hacer sin necesidad de tener el DPI.

VOLUNTARIOS BILINGUES Y MIEMBROS DEL CENTRO DE TRABAJADORES: Necesitamos voluntarios para apoyar al Consulado de Guatemala este viernes entre 10Am a 4PM. Comunícate con el Centro al (315) 882-8335 o al (315) 412-8808 y apoya esta importante labor. Estaremos apoyando a que el consulado de Guatemala le de sus documentos a compañeros trabajadores del campo que perdieron sus documentos en un incendio recientemente, y a demás compañeros Guatemaltecos que soliciten sus servicios.

The Workers’ Center of CNY, The Worker Justice Center of NY and The Guatemalan Consulate invite you to our office this Friday, September 25th from 10AM to 4PM where the Guatemalan Consulate will be offering its services.
For more information, to register and make an appointment to process your documents call the Guatemalan Consulate at (212) 686-3837. To confirm your attendance with the Workers’ Center of CNY, call (315) 412-8808. We will be meeting on the second floor of Plymouth Church- Address: 232 E. Onondaga St. Syracuse, NY 13202.
The Consulate will be taking in 60 applications. The services offered will be: processing passports and processing consulate identifications.
The Consulate will be offering more information regarding services they offer, but will only be processing the two documents previously mentioned.
DPI will not be given at this consulate. Currently the only place where the DPI is provided is in Guatemala. The Consulate expects that the DPI can be processed by the end of this year in New York. The requirement processes of a DPI will be to have a Partida de Nacimiento de RENAP (Birth certificate), and those who need it should begin to solicit it from Guatemala to have it ready by the end of the year.
